We where able to bring home a twin bed from Utah..Thanks to Family! I have to say I was not looking forward to the day I put Deacon in a big boy bed....I liked having him in a crib for so long. I liked that he HAD to stay in it... A few weeks before we went I changed his crib into a day bed or whatever you want to call it. To get him use to it. He liked it but wanted to get out, all the time. When we got home I put the new bed up and left the other one because I wasn't sure if he would like it or not. Let's just say he hasn't been back to his crib. He LOVES the new big boy bed He is doing so good in it. He used to cry for me to stay in his room until he fell asleep and now he let's me go..It's great! Maybe it was time. ( : I guess he didn't like being trap in there, like I liked. ( :

Taking a nap in his new bed
Now, I'm finally getting back into the routine of things here. We are HOPING Derek will be testing in November so he can be done with the prosthetic part. In February he will be done with his last residency in orthotics. YEAH! Just a few test after that. We are getting SO close. I just can't wait to settle down and have a few things behind us.

He is so cute in his new big bed. Thanks for coming home. We LOVED every minute!! Love you.
It's so nice when there is a light at the end of the tunnel. That's great that the bed transition went so well!
Glad the transition to the big bed went well. He's growing up!
So good to see you. I hope we live close together again someday. We miss you so much!
