SHOULD I FEEL.......

SAFE or SCARED??? This is where you come in.

I could use your help, let me tell you the story and then you decide. Saturday night we started hearing this loud Helicopter/plane noise outside. I was asleep on the couch but it was so noisy that it woke me up. Derek got up and looked outside this is what he found.

Not to far away, not right over us, but close enough that we could see very clear what it was.
Okay, yes, I have been sheltered in Utah for way to long. ( : My question to you is Should I feel safe about this whole thing or maybe a little worried. ( :

Uh.....I'm gonna say scared. That a police helicopter is even needed is pretty scary. But at least they are trying to stop the problem. Right?

I think safer. You know you are in a city, and not too far from a rough part of town. I would be glad to know that the police are watching out for you! Just be smart but don't let this stop you from living your normal life. Just a week ago there was a shooting in American Fork and the suspected shooter ran. When I came home from work, helicopters were circling around the area looking for him. It can happen even here.

Wow! That would worry me a bit, but at least they're watching out for you, too. You may have some good stories to tell later on!

Deacon is going to love this adventure! You'll be safe. Just hang out with those girlies from your ward. Has Deacon gone out without his shoes? I'll send them~along with a can of mace!

This is a trick question! I had the same experience about a week ago, yes here is happy valley Utah. There was a shooting just a block north of my house and the shooter was on the loose, the same looking helicopter was flying over my house in circles trying to find this killer that had just shot and killed his uncle! I know crazy stuff! I like to think that this was a comforting thing because when they stopped that meant that they had found and solved the problem! You will be okay and try to find Joy in the Journey!:)

That is kind of scary... I don't know though there was a shooting just last week in the A.F, P.G. area where they shut off roads and had helicopters flying around. I would do all your normal everyday things just be careful!

Are you kidding. D should have jumped out the window and joined them. Maybe he could call himself D-swat or D-money. Big-D Swat maybe. Just remember you'll have to hide the weed when they show up over head. I hear if there are no police dogs they won't find it!

Wow. I think that it would be a lot scarier, having just moved to the area and not really knowing how things usually are. I guess no one can really escape crazy things like this anymore.

We lived in a "questionable" neighborhood like this for a little while when we lived in Hawaii. I was constantly nervous and felt on edge a lot. You're normal to feel worried. Just say your prayers and keep your doors locked. :) I'm thinking about ya!
