Genius "The Tour de . . . "

This year American Fork Steel Days featured a bike race not for the faint of heart or soft of stomach. The tour de doughnut is three laps of 7 miles with a 3 min. time reduction for each doughnut eaten between laps. A friend mentioned it and it sounded fun. Since I don't train on a bike I did the one lap exhibition class followed by as many doughnuts as you want. My friend travis who also did not train for the race went for the whole shot. Travis was in 16th place for the first lap then dropped to 150th. I on the other hand,I only had to do one lap and started in the back so I was passing families and girls on pink bikes like the whole way. Travis's brother snapped some shots for all to enjoy!

Ideal athlete.

Travis in tbe white shirt I am way in the back getting pumped

triumphant atheletes, the sign actually fell down we had to put it up for the pictures

I promise after riding the last thing you want is a doughnut, I ate 2 travis ate 5

We felt like winners. (we managed to convince the organisers to let us take pictures with the trophies. The winner ate 25 doughnuts and got a negative 3 min time. Do the math)

This race is a genius idea! But you could have just done it without the bike ride :) Wait, I think that I just made a genius race a super genius race---YES!
